Salto Strategic AdvisorsStart with an audit
AI staff for owner-operated businesses

You built the business.

Now build the thing that runs it.

Led by Nichole & Steve DiPippo — every Salto Audit is signed off by one of them personally.

We build the AI staff your business runs on — and hand it over. Not a tool you have to learn. A system we architect, staff, and install in your own accounts.

Who leads the work

Operators who lead the work.

Nichole and Steve DiPippo built and ran a property management company, then sold it. They lead the firm and set the method — and no audit reaches a client without one of them reading it and signing it. Salto came out of those years buried in messages and spreadsheets, and then the work of building something that ran without them.

  • I ran the properties myself
  • fifteen years in finance first
  • years of dinner-table strategy
  • the audit is my favorite part
  • the hard number, not the nice one
  • I plan trips the way I plan engagements

Before anything else

Do your own math.

Two numbers. What an hour of your attention is actually worth, and the hours a week your business spends on work that shouldn’t need a person.

$150 / hr
12 hrs / wk
You’re losing$93,600a year — $7,800 a month

Finding out which of those hours are real, and what it would take to get them back, costs $750 for one domain — finance, operations, or pipeline — or $1,950 for all three.

Fixed fee, never discounted. Half of it credits toward whatever you build next if you move within 60 days. You keep the findings either way.

The problem

Here’s the actual problem.

You don’t have a people problem. You have a nothing-is-written-down problem — and hiring doesn’t fix that, it just gives one more person a reason to ask you.

01

It’s all in your head

You know the answer. You always know the answer. It’s in a text thread from March, a call nobody recorded, a rule you made once and never said out loud again. So every time it comes up, someone asks you, and you answer it from scratch. You’ve explained the same thing forty times and it’s still not anywhere.

02

The business stops where you stop

Every exception routes to you. Every price call, every unhappy client, every “what do we do here.” That’s not a company — it’s one person with helpers, and the ceiling is however many hours you’re awake. The week you’re sick is the week it shows.

03

You already tried AI. It half worked.

You’ve got a ChatGPT subscription and a folder of prompts. Somebody built a thing that worked for two weeks. There’s a notetaker recording meetings nobody reads. None of it knows your business, none of it talks to anything else, and none of it moved a single job from start to finished without you standing over it.

The uncomfortable checklist

This is for you if…

  • You know you need this and have no idea where it starts
  • The answer is always in an email. Never the one you’re in.
  • You have a team and you’re still the one answering everything
  • It’s 9pm and you’re back on the laptop because that’s the only quiet hour
  • The business runs on inboxes, drives, and one spreadsheet you don’t trust
  • You’d rather someone just did it for you

And the quiet one: you don’t want to become an AI person. You want your evenings back.

The ownership question

“Can I take this with me if I leave?”

Answered before you ask it.

It’s the right question to ask any AI vendor, and most of them answer it badly. Everything we build runs in your accounts, on your keys, under your logins. The processes are written in plain language you can hand to a new hire.

If you fired us tomorrow, you would keep every piece of it and it would keep working. We built the whole method backwards from that promise.

Half this firm spent a career building networks that weren’t allowed to go down. The discipline that comes from that is documenting like you’re leaving, and designing for the day it breaks.

The solution

Here’s what we do about it.

Not a pilot. Not a workshop. The actual system, running.

You know AI matters. What you don’t have is a place to start that isn’t a course. So here’s what actually changes: the answer you needed shows up in seconds instead of an hour of digging, the follow-up happens whether or not anyone remembered, and the business stops routing every decision through you. Getting there takes a foundation, not a subscription — your business written down, then built on. Same method every time, built around your business specifically.

It’s out of your head.

The rule you made once and never wrote down is written down. So is the pricing logic, the exception you always make for that one client, and what to do when a guest asks at 2am. Someone can answer it without asking you.

The brainThe Salto Structure

Everything your business knows, in one place, in language a person can read and change. Not another folder to maintain.

Somebody’s doing the work at 7am.

The brief is on your screen before you open the laptop. The recurring job that ate every Monday is done and waiting for you to look at it.

Your assistantThe Salto Assistant

It has a name, a personality, and its own email address. It knows your business because it was built on the brain. It has a defined job and it does it on a schedule.

It stops waiting to be told.

The thing that came in at 4pm got handled at 4pm, not the next time you checked. The small calls get made without a round-trip through you.

The promotionSalto Launch

The same assistant, given autonomy: it responds to what’s happening instead of waiting for a schedule, and sends rather than drafts on the decisions that don’t need you. It lives in your accounts, on your keys.

You have specialists, not one generalist.

The numbers get read by something that only reads numbers. The operations get watched by something that only watches operations.

The Executive SuiteSalto CFO · Salto Ops · Salto CMO

Built on the same foundation. Your assistant stops doing everything and starts managing staff.

It’s yours, and you can prove it.

Nothing to renew, nothing to migrate, nothing held hostage. If we disappeared tomorrow you’d keep all of it.

The handoffSalto Own

Every piece in your accounts, documented, plus a session where we teach you to run it. Included, not sold separately.

The Salto Method

Five phases, named

See · The Salto Audit

We go through the business and tell you what’s true, in dollars, before anything gets built.

Architect · The Structure

Your business written down, then an assistant built on top of it.

Launch

The assistant gets promoted. Earned by a readiness check, not a calendar.

Team · Executive Suite

Specialists on the same foundation.

Own · The Handoff

Everything in your accounts, documented, taught.

Salto Care — after the handoff, if you want it. Ongoing advisory once you already own everything. Deliberately after Own, not before: the handoff is real, and Care is something you choose, not something you’re stuck in.

The firm

A founder signs every audit.

We lead the work rather than resell it. Whoever else is on a build, the findings you act on carry a founder’s name — and neither of us will sign a number we can’t trace to a source in your own files.

Who this is for

Owner-operated businesses past the improvising stage — where there’s real revenue, real complexity, and one person still holding most of it together in their head.

You’re a fit if

  • The business would slow down noticeably if you took three weeks off.
  • You’ve bought tools that didn’t fix it.
  • You want this done for you, not taught to you.
  • Your books are current enough that a number means something.

You’re not a fit if

  • You want to learn to build it yourself. There are good courses for that, and we’ll point you to them.
  • Your books are a year behind and you don’t want to fix them first. We can’t audit what nobody wrote down.
  • You want the cheapest option rather than the one that holds up.
  • Nobody on your side has a few hours a week while we build.

We’ve told people not to hire us. It’s a short call and we’d rather have it early.

Proof

Where it’s already running.

Everything above is a claim about how we work. These aren’t. Each one is a business we went through, wrote down, and built on — including our own.

Vivid Thistle Studio

Amy Pruitt · Brand & design

A studio where the work was the bottleneck and the admin was the tax. We went through the business, wrote down how the studio actually runs, and built the assistant that handles the parts that were eating her design hours.

Arrow Travel

Travel advisory

A client-service business where every itinerary, quote, and follow-up ran through one person’s inbox. The structure got written down first; the assistant now carries the repeat work that used to wait for a quiet evening.

Cozy Quarters

Property management · our own company

Our own company, run on the system we sell. The agents handled the guests, the owners, and the day-to-day while we spent the summer in Italy — which is the whole argument for the method, tested on the business we could least afford to break.

What happens next

Your first two weeks.

Nothing gets installed and there’s nothing to learn. You send us what you already have, we go through the business, and you get a read on it — in dollars — on one call at the end, with one of us.

Days 1–2

You send what you already have

An intake form — about 45 minutes — and exports from the systems you already run on: your books, your owner statements, your bookings. You can grant temporary read-only access instead if that’s less work. Nothing new to install, and if you don’t have something, there’s a box that says so.

Week one

We go through the business

We work through the domain you picked — finance, operations, or pipeline — and find where the money and the hours are leaking. If we need to ask you something, it comes back as an email, not a meeting. Your week stays yours.

Week two

You get the findings, read to you

A scorecard, a leak list with dollar figures, and a priority roadmap you could hand to anyone. A founder reads it before you do and signs it. Then one call — the only one — to walk you through it, where every number traces back to a source in your own files.

Then you decide whether to build anything. Plenty of people take the roadmap and run it themselves — you keep the findings either way.

Pricing

You’ll know the price before you start, and it won’t move.

Every engagement starts with the Salto Audit. Fixed fee, never discounted, and half of it credits toward whatever you build next if you move within 60 days. We don’t do retainers-until-further-notice. Each phase is scoped, priced, and finished.

Start where everyone starts.

One audit. Fixed fee. You’ll get an honest read on your business and a plan you could execute without us. Most people don’t.
